25ft of 2ga wire is needed to run from battery to back bumper. 25ft gives about 3ft of wiggle room.
I’m done using quick connects. Since I do a lot of welding and I use welding leads. I use dinse 35-50 ends since they are universal (quick connects are not).
10,000lb Smittybilt winch has 2ga wires.
Wires are ran down along the body with the cooling/heating lines. Fits perfectly.
Protect Wires from heat when needed.
Smitty X20 10,000lbs uses one bolt 6Mx1″. Switched from cable to 1/2 synthetic. Winch is actually lighter to carry and insert into hitch receiver.
1/2″ dyneema (amazon special). Durable? IDK but if Harborfreights 3/8″ synthetic rope performs well, i’m sure this 1/2″ will too.
