I’ve seen quite a few fixes and I don’t like any of them. Overly complex for a simple fix. It looks simple but you had to order a few things online. I went to the hardware store and bought three items: 1/4 bolt, washer, lock nut.
15mm to remove. 11mm for the new bolt.
Cut off the tit and punch it out.
1/4” drilled on the lever arm and plastic bushing.
Weld it and cut shorter.
